Most subwoofers fall short on accuracy – high excursion drivers can result in a smeared impulse response. The feedforward correction system, Impulse Control, sees into the future and stops excess motion before it happens. The result is bass so tight your mastering engineer might finally respect you.

The built in USB-C controlled DSP is available on both the subwoofer AND main monitor outputs. Through pristine class AB output stages, it hunts down those room modes you pretend not to hear. You’ll need new excuses for why that kick drum doesn’t translate.

Really Mean Sub’s balanced configuration cancels out any remaining reactive forces inside our exceptionally robust 24mm thick sandwich baffle MDF enclosure. Structural vibrations are reduced, improving intermodulation distortion and allowing you to make faster, more accurate decisions.
