Description

Seeed Studio reComputer J3011B is a compact edge AI computer built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module. It delivers up to 40 TOPS in the standard mode and up to 67 TOPS in Super Mode, giving you a much more capable edge AI platform than legacy Nano systems while still keeping a compact footprint.

The J3011B combines 128GB NVMe SSD, Gigabit Ethernet, 2 x USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1, dual CSI, CAN, 40-pin GPIO, and support for optional Wi-Fi and LTE expansion through the J401B platform. That makes it a strong fit for computer vision, robotics, smart infrastructure, industrial AI terminals, and edge systems that need more headroom than Orin Nano 4GB.

If you want an Orin Nano full system with stronger memory capacity than J3010B, but do not need to move all the way up to an Orin NX machine, the J3011B sits in a very practical middle position.

Features

  • Jetson Orin Nano 8GB performance: Up to 40 TOPS in the standard mode and up to 67 TOPS in Super Mode.
  • Full system deployment: Includes pre-installed 128GB NVMe SSD, enclosure, heatsink with fan, and power adapter.
  • Balanced compact AI platform: Stronger than J3010B, but still smaller and more accessible than Orin NX class systems.
  • Flexible connectivity: HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet, dual CSI, CAN, GPIO, M.2 Key E, M.2 Key M, and mini-PCIe support a wide range of projects.
  • Optional wireless and LTE expansion: Useful for remote, mobile, or field-connected edge AI deployments.
  • Longer-term product planning: A good choice when you want more memory headroom for future model growth without jumping straight to a larger system.

Other Content

The J3011B is the stronger Orin Nano option inside the J30B branch. Compared with J3010B, it gives you more memory capacity and higher AI performance, which makes it a better choice for users who expect heavier models or more demanding edge inference.

The J401B platform also expands deployment flexibility. Optional Wi-Fi and LTE support, NVMe storage, CAN, GPIO, and CSI make it easier to use this system in remote, mobile, or field-connected AI installations.

If you are planning longer-term growth, J3011B is often the better stopping point before moving all the way up to an Orin NX class system.

FAQ

What is the difference between J3011B and J3010B?
J3011B uses Jetson Orin Nano 8GB and delivers 40 TOPS in standard mode, up to 67 TOPS in Super Mode. J3010B uses Orin Nano 4GB and is the lighter entry point. If you need more memory headroom and stronger AI performance, J3011B is the better fit.

How does J3011B compare with J4012?
reComputer J4012 is an Orin NX 16GB class machine and sits well above J3011B in raw performance. J3011B is the better choice when you want a compact Orin Nano full system with stronger memory than J3010B, but do not need Orin NX scale.

Does J3011B include Wi-Fi or LTE in the package?
No. The platform supports those expansions, but Wi-Fi and LTE modules require additional purchase.

Is J3011B suitable for computer vision and robotics?
Yes. The combination of dual CSI, CAN, GPIO, NVMe storage, and Orin Nano 8GB performance makes it a strong fit for compact robotics and camera-based AI systems.

Who should choose J3011B instead of J3010?
Choose J3011B when you want a stronger Orin Nano platform with more memory headroom, especially if you expect model complexity or workload size to increase over time.

Does the product already include storage and enclosure?
Yes. It already includes 128GB NVMe SSD, aluminum heatsink with fan, and the aluminum case, so it is much closer to deployment-ready than a board-only platform.

What if I may eventually need even more performance?
If you think your workload will soon exceed Orin Nano 8GB, it is worth comparing J3011B with the J4012 so you do not outgrow the platform too quickly.
