It is a; CMOS 7-stage ripple-carry binary Counter/Dividerhaving master-slave flip-flops counter stages.A Triggeraction, namely “Schmitt trigger” on the input-pulse line permits unlimited rise and fall times. On the negative transition of each input pulse creates a high level on the RESET line resets the counter to its all-zero state.
